History and Lore
Lucyfurr is a large topic of discussion based of their interesting personality and controversial name, with Apoinsettia constantly referring to it as “a major failure of the poll system” to which many users voted for the name. Whether Twitch chat did this due to them enjoying the name or to relish in Apoinsettia’s dissapointment, the name would prevail beating a follow up name of “Mayday” which earned second place.
Lucyfurr would always be amongst the other cats in The Hideaway Subcolony.
It was revealed by other feeders that Lucyfurr used to be a trucker’s cat that was traveling with him. One day Lucyfurr got out and wandered the property. The trucker intended to take him back but was going to leave on a cruise and decided at the suggestion of the people at the Hideaway property to leave him to roam instead of in a cage or some alternative that was being considered. They haven’t heard of the trucker since, but understand that he often drives routes to and from Ohio.
Personality
Lucyfurr initially was skittish. Their personality would range from meowing for attention but skipping away when approached. Since, he has opened up and become a much friendlier cat. He enjoys being pet while walking, and isolates himself from the other cats despite the friendly demeanor. He is the shyest of the friendly cats but can be pet on his own terms, but is not always guaranteed.
