History and Lore
Twix is a somewhat of a celebrity, having a viral clip featured on Livestreamfails (LSF). He was the first ever cat to show signs of being friendly in The Truckyard Subcolony. This location consists of a large number of cats, many yet to be named, who are predominantly shy. Twix does not seem to share the same traits as his neighbors, even acting the opposite of them due to his care-free, playful, and human-oriented nature which is surprising for a stray cat.
One day, Apoinsettia would have a chance meeting with a former employee at the warehouse where Twix roams. He had returned to his former place of employment solely to check on Twix’s welfare whereupon he met Apoinsettia in the midst of a Sunday livestream. The former employee was dubbed KittyDogLover after calling Twix by the name KittyDog. Some backstory was offered by KittyDogLover, explaining that Twix would frequently enter the warehouse and stay at his feet all day although other employees were not fond of having a cat present. He went on to tell that Twix formerly had a home and owner that also had a pet dog which attacked Twix, knocking out a tooth. Since then, KittyDogLover explained that Twix had a fear of dogs and KittyDogLover would love to take Twix in if he wasn’t also a dog owner, but was relieved and pleased to see Twix being well cared for by Apoinsettia and other feeders.
Personality
Twix is a very playful cat who is friendly towards Apoinsettia and friends, enjoying the classic food and catnip. He likes to rub on someone’s leg and will walk any distance at a calm pace to interact with them. Though friendly from the first encounter, Twix’s disposition has even become more daring and brave, going so far as to emerge as a serial explorer of Apoinsettia’s car. This can be attested to in the first time here. He has even gone for short rides and nearly commandeered Apoinsettia’s civic. Like other friendly cats on the channel, when Twix is fed he likes to keep to himself afterwards, but will still take a pet.
